The Komets outscored their opponents 11 to 6 last week but ended up losing two of three by dropping a home game to Dayton and a road game at Quad City.
The K's have lost three of their last four road games and are just 3-4 in their last seven games overall after winning six straight.
Konstantin Shafranov netted three goals last week, while P.C. Drouin and Frankie DeAngelis each tallied two.
The K's were 3-of-8 on the powerplay last week.
