Lasch & Caputi Called Up By Norfolk

The Komets announced Tuesday that NHL affiliate, the Anaheim Ducks, have reassigned forward Ryan Lasch to the AHL’s Norfolk Admirals. Also, Norfolk has recalled forward Luca Caputi from the Komets.

Lash appeared in 12 games with the Komets since his assignment to Fort Wayne Nov. 27 scoring six goals and 15 points. The forward was named ECHL Player of the Week for the week ending Dec. 16 netting four goals, including a hat trick, and nine points in the four games played during the week.

Caputi netted five goals and 10 points in 10 games with the Komets since his assignment to Fort Wayne Nov. 27 from Norfolk.

The Komets also announced that defenseman Tim Priamo has been released. Priamo did not appear in any games during his brief stay in Fort Wayne.

The Komets will start a stretch of four games in five nights leading up to the traditional Fort Wayne New Year’s Eve game when they host Toledo Thursday at 7:30pm. The Komets will travel to Kalamazoo Friday for a 7:30pm faceoff at Wings Stadium. Saturday the Komets return home to host the Elmira Jackals at 7:30pm.

The Komets will welcome the Walleye back to Fort Wayne for the annual New Year’s Eve game Monday at 7:30 pm.
