Komets Edged By Toledo 2-1 At Coliseum

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - After two scoreless periods the third frame went to Toledo as the Walleye scored twice in the final 20 minutes to beat the Komets 2-1.

Just 52 seconds into the third period Terry Broadhurst would score a power play goal to give Toledo a 1-0 lead.

Joey Martin would find the net at 4:11 as Toledo would go up 2-0.

Colin Chaulk's goal at 18:07 would cut the lead in half, but wouldn't be enough.

Kenny Reiter saved 30-of-32 shots for the Komets.

Pearce stopped 29-of-30 for Toledo.

Next up the Komets host Evansville tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m.
