FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Interviews with head coach Al Sims, right wing David Hukalo and left wing P.C. Drouin available by clicking play to the left.
After overtaking Port Huron with a 5-1 win Saturday night, the Komets will again tangle with the IceHawks in a battle second place on Wednesday at McMorran Arena. That game will begin a tough stretch for the Komets where they will play four games in five nights.
In recent seasons about this time, the Komets have really started to make a strong push to finish the regular season and this year is no different. Having won three straight and nine of the last 11, the K's success is certainly trying to send the message to the rest of the league that the two-time defending Turner Cup champs are preparing for a long postseason run.
For the next couple of weeks though, the Komets will have to find a way to win withough Brad MacMillan on the ice. The Komets enforcer has a separated shoulder and will miss two weeks.
