FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Komets announced Tuesday that goaltender Kenny Reiter has been reassigned to Fort Wayne from Bridgeport of the AHL.
Reiter appeared in two games with the Sound Tigers during his recent call-up (0-1-0, 80 minutes, 6 ga, 4.50 gaa) Oct. 25. Reiter started the season with the Komets appearing in three games (1-0-1, 145 minutes, 2 ga, 1 shutout, 0.83 gaa).
In additional roster moves, the Komets have placed netminder Marco Cousineau and Ryan Hegarty (D) on 21-day injured reserve.
Reiter is expected to be in the lineup when the Komets skate at Toledo Wednesday morning at 10:35. After Wednesday’s game the Komets return home to host the Evansville IceMen Friday at 8pm before traveling to Kalamazoo for a 7:30pm faceoff Saturday at Wings Stadium.
