FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) - Concordia gave it a go, but the 2012 Boys SAC Holiday Tournament ended like the previous two - with Northrop on top. The Bruins used a late push from Brenton Scott to hold off the Cadets by a 68-62 final on Saturday.

Scott led the way with 18 points, while three other Bruins - including brother Bryson - finished in double figure scoring. Antonio Richmond provided a second-half spark with 17 points, including several timely three-pointers.

Concordia got 18 points from Reggie Tharp - Thomas Starks added 17 of his own.

For Northrop, this is a record-setting 10th Boys SAC Holiday Tournament Championship.
