FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) - South Side lived up to its No. 6 ranking in the latest 4A polls as the Archers crushed rival North Side 72-19 in the opening game of the SAC Holiday Tournament on Wednesday. South Side featured a balanced attack with four players in double figures. Freshman Lakesha Stephens led the way with 13 points.

Snider hasn't lost since mid-November and the 16th ranked Panthers continued their streak with a 67-28 win over Northrop. Meredith Shipman paced Snider with a game-high 19 points, while Aleah Swary netted 18 for the Bruins.

In other action, Concordia trounced Wayne 66-44 and Bishop Luers bested Bishop Dwenger 55-45.

The SAC Holiday Tournament continues Thursday at Wayne High School.
