CASTON, IN. (WANE) - It was supposed to be a showdown of potential state championship winners - instead like so many other games - it turned into a Canterbury blowout. The Cavaliers demolished Oregon-Davis 79-54 behind 23 points from Darby Maggard and 17 from Kindell Fincher. The Canterbury duo pushed their team towards a potential fifth state championship in the last six seasons.
The championship game was only slightly closer than the Cavs 95-54 semi-final win over West Central.
In the Tri-Central regional, Southern Wells saw its season come to an end at the hands of North Vermillion, 34-25.
