BLACKFORD, IN. (WANE) - In an all-area regional championship - Concordia defeated Norwell 67-58 to claim its first regional crown since 2000. The Cadets were led by 26 points from D.J. McCall, with Brian Grimeaux and Thomas Starks each chipped in 13. The Knights put four players in double figures, including David Vogel who netted 13.

Norwell advanced to the finals with a 77-65 win over Tippecanoe Valley earlier in the day. Concordia hammered Hamilton Heights 65-49 in their semi-final match-up.

The Cadets will face Andrea in semi-state next Saturday at either Huntington North or  Lafayette Jefferson.
