Only the strong survived a huge night of girls sectional action in the Highlight Zone, as Snider topped Carroll 56-50 in the Game of the Week.

At 4A sectional 5 at East Noble the Panthers were led by seniors Kaylee Walters. Ciera Geiger led Carroll with 14. Snider will face DeKalb tomorrow night in the sectional championship game as the Lady Barons topped Northrop, 57-44.

At 4A sectional 6 at Jay County Marion topped Jay County in the early game in double-overtime, 58-53. The Little Giants face South Side tomorrow at 6 p.m. Meanwhile, Homestead topped North Side in the night game, 41-25. The Spartans will face Huntington North tomorrow.

At 3A sectional 21 Columbia City blasted Lakeland, 60-33. The Eagles will face NorthWood tomorrow, as NorthWood topped Wawasee, 47-33.

At 3A sectional 23 Concordia had no trouble with Heritage, 57-22. The Cadets will face Angola tomorrow, as the Hornets topped New Haven in overtime, 53-46.

At 2A sectional 36 host Eastside fell to Fremont in the late game, 54-52. Fremont faces Churubusco tomorrow. Meanwhile, Garrett advanced past Central Noble, 51-28. The Railroaders take on Prairie Heights tomorrow.

At 2A sectional 38 Luers beat host Woodlan, 63-34. The Knights advance to Monday's championship game where they will take on Adams Central as AC beat South Adams 34-12 on Friday.

In 1A actional at Hamilton Canterbury opened it's title defense with a 88-37 win over Elkhart Christian. The Cavs face Blackhawk Christian tomorrow in the second round, as the Braves beat Lakewood Park Christian, 54-42.
