The Homestead girls improved to 7-1 on the season with a win at South Side Tuesday night, 58-43.

The Spartans were led by Carmen Lowe and Terraysha Gordon with 15 apiece. South was paced by Brittany Johnson's 12 points.

In other action, Andrea Newbauer netted 14 while Erynn Meiklejohn chipped in 13 as Concordia beat Heritage, 64-23.
