Cadets to play in 3A title game Saturday

For the first time in school history the Concordia Cadets will play for a girls basketball state title, as David Miller's team is set to face Rushville in the 3A title game Saturday at 6 p.m. at War Memorial Coliseum.

Concordia comes in 23-3 on the season and ranked no. 8 in the latest 3A state poll. Rushville comes in 25-2 and ranked no. 1 in the state's final 3A poll.

Concordia coach David Miller is in his seventh season with the Cadets, racking up a 105-53 record that includes a perfect 9-0 mark in SAC play this season.
