Leo, Norwell win big conference showdowns Saturday

NORTHEAST, Ind. (WANE) - In the ACAC, only two unbeaten teams remained in conference - Leo and Southern Wells.  After the Lions dismantled the Raiders Saturday, 54-21, Leo remains in the driver's seat in the conference.  Alexis Meeks led the Lions with 12 points.

In the NHC, Norwell and DeKalb both entered the night undefeated in conference play.  After it was all said and done, the 2nd-ranked Knights remain unblemished in league play with a 64-55 win Saturday.  The Knights are also undefeated on the season and were led by Janelle Wilson with a game-high 22 points.

In other action, Elmhurst girls beat Northrop and Homestead topped Carroll while on the boys' side, Bishop Dwenger handed DeKalb its fourth loss of the season.  Other scores from around the area:
