FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Bishop Luers is one win away from a trip to the 2A state title game as Denny Renier's club is set to face Eastern on Saturday at semi-state.
Luers (14-11) and Eastern (21-3) will square off at 4 p.m. Saturday at Warsaw high school. That game will be followed by 4A semi-state play between South Side and Warsaw.
Eastern finished the regular season ranked no. 6 in the 2A state poll while Luers was tied for 14th.
The Knights are coming off a 67-40 win over Boone Grove last Saturday at regionals.
