HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WANE) - It took four extra minutes, but Concordia will play for a state championship for the first time ever in boy's basketball next week.  Saturday afternoon, the Cadets beat Andrean, 68-63 in overtime.

Concordia had two shots late in regulation that did not find the net.  Either one of them would have clinched the win.  The Cadets outscored Andrean in the extra period, 14-9.

Concordia's D.J. McCall scored 20 points for the Cadets.  Marq Rogers dropped in 15 more.  Two other players also reached double figures in the win.

The 3A state championship will take place Saturday, March 23 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.  Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.  The Cadets will play either Greensburg or Mt. Vernon.

The semi-state game was played at Huntington North High School.  It was the first time the program made it to the semi-state round since 2000.

This story will be updated with more information Saturday night.  Highlights will also be added.  You can also watch the highlights Saturday on Nightcast at 11 p.m. during the Highlight Zone.
