FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Interviews with Carroll head coach Marty Beasley, senior forward Shane Merryman and senior guard Stephen Jones available by clicking play to the left.
Just three weeks ago, Warsaw and Carroll met at the Memorial Coliseum with the Tigers taking a 66-57 victory to end the Chargers 14-game winning streak. Saturday, the two teams will meet again with much more on the line.
A trip to Conseco Fieldhouse is at stake when Warsaw (22-2) and Carroll (21-3) meet at the Huntington North semi-state at approximately 3:30 p.m.
In the February 26 contest, Carroll didn't shoot particularly well and had trouble containing Warsaw's junior guard Nic Moore. The Tigers held a comfortable lead in the second half before the Chargers made a late run but ultimately came up short.
Warsaw hasn't won a semi-state since 1996 and Carroll last never won a semi-state crown.
Be sure to tune into the Highlight Zone Saturday night after the NCAA tournament games to see which teams are punching their tickets to Conseco Fieldhouse.
