NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WANE) - Concordia's Brandon Webb banked in jumper at the buzzer to earn Concordia a 64-63 win over New Haven at Armstrong Arena on Thursday night in boys high school basketball action.
The Bulldogs saw their 10-game winning streak come to a halt with the loss.
New Haven led by three but a technical foul on the Bulldogs' bench with 6.3 seconds left gave Concordia new life. After hitting two three throws to cut it to 63-62 Concordia got the ball. Webb banked in a jumper from the free throw line at the buzzer as the Cadets won 64-63.
D.J. McCall led Concordia with 21 points while Marq Rogers added 13 and Thomas Starks 12.
New Haven was paced by Steven McElvene's 20 points and 19 rebounds. Notre Dame signee V.J. Beachem scored 15 points while Lacy Curry chipped in with 10 for New Haven.
