FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - It's no secret Leo likes to score. The Lions did plenty of that Saturday night topping Whitko 107-90. Leo junior guard A.J. Busche set a new school record scoring 47 points. Fellow teammate Gage Corner had 30.
At Canterbury, the Cavaliers fell behind 11-0 to start the game against Concordia and the Cavaliers never recovered losing to the Cadets 67-48. Concordia's Brian Gremaux and Canterbury's Davis Rao each scored 21 points in the game.
In girls action, Homestead won its ninth straight game with a 52-40 win over DeKalb. Emily Bley led the Spartans with 13 points.
Norwell and Leo each wrapped up regular season conference championships with wins Saturday. The Knights beat East Noble 70-35 while the Lions topped Bluffton 61-42.
