FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Snider won big at Wayne to finish the regular season undefated while Luers toppled Dwenger in the Battle of the Bishops.

At Snider the three-headed monster of Tyrell Swain, Nic Reese, and Je'Noire Smith combined for 252 yards rushing to lead the Panthers to a 34-3 win. Nick Harmeyer booted a 37-yard field goal for Wayne's only score. The Panthers end the regular season 9-0 overall and will host undefeated Homestead next Friday night in sectional play. The Panthers and Spartans will be featured as the Highlight Zone "Game of the Week."

At Luersfield the Knights took a 21-0 advantage with 4 minutes left in the first quarter in large part thanks to Jaylon Smith as Bishop Luers went on to top Bishop Dwenger 58-21. Smith scored on Luers' second play from scrimmage on a 15-yard run to make it 7-0. Jemar-Quay Brooks would rip off a 68-yards score to make it 14-0. On the next BLHS possession Smith would score on 4th and 2 from the 27 yard line to up the Luers lead to 21-0. Jaquale Cooper would add two rushing touchdowns of his own as the Knights beat the Saints for the second time in a row.

At Chambers Field North Side won a shootout with Northrop 48-27 in a preview of next Thursday's first round sectional game at Spuller Stadium. North Side quarterback C.J. Jackson left the game late in the second quarter with an apparent elbow injury and did not return but head coach Ryan Hall told WANE that Jackson could have played if needed and will be fine for next Thursday's playoff contest.

At Zollner Stadium Concordia hung with 3A no. 9 Brebeuf early but couldn't beat the Braves in 46-22 loss. Michael Hicks scored on a 40-yard run in the first quarter to highlight the scoring for the Cadets.

South Side went on the road and spanked Gary Wallace 75-6.
