MUNCIE, Ind. (WANE) - With conference games taking place at Ball State throughout the day on Saturday, Garrett and Leo maintained their two-horse race in the ACAC.

Garrett had little trouble with South Adams, rolling over the Starfires by a final of 42-14. Noah Follett had a big night for Garrett, scoring touchdowns through both the air and on the ground as the Railroaders improved to 4-0 in the conference.

Leo got a big scare from Woodlan, but outlasted the Warriors 25-20 to improve their record to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in the ACAC. Corbin Smith threw a pair of touchdowns for Woodlan, but was sunk by the three interceptions he fired as well. Sam Waters connected on touchdowns with A.J. Busche and Fazaun Stephens to lead the Lions.

Heritage had the most impressive line of the day, routing Bluffton 54-6 while wracking up 542 total yards of offense. Brenton Lockett carried 11 times for 269 yards and four touchdowns, while quarterback Connor Sheehan completed 7-of-9 passes for 110 yards and two scores.

Adams Central played Southern Wells in the morning game in Muncie, pulling away for a 41-24 win. Adams Central will host Bluffton next Friday.
