FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Northrop beat Bishop Dwenger for the first time since 2003 as the Bruins topped the Saints on a sloppy night at Spuller Stadium.

Dwenger evened the score midway through the second quarter with a punt return for a score, knotting the game at 10-10. After an Amani Ray interception returned deep into Saints territory Colin Brockhouse would hit Spencer Cowherd for the game-winning touchdown.

At Zollner Stadium South Side and Concordia postponed their game with South up 20-18 with a minute left in the third quarter. The Archers and Cadets will pick up play tomorrow at noon.

North Side and Wayne will also continue their game tomorrow. The Redskins lead the Generals 19-9 with just under nine minutes to go in the third quarter.

Bishop Luers made a long road trip to Ohio to battle Toledo Whitmer. Sean Katen booted a 37-yard field goal in the second quarter, but that was Luers only score in a 20-3 loss. Whitmer, an Ohio powerhouse, is ranked no. 10 in the midwest by Maxpreps.com.

Snider and Penn are scheduled to play at Spuller Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
