FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Weather put a major kink in the ACAC's plan on Friday night but it didn't stop Heritage from earning a big win.
The Patriots topped South Adams 35-0 in a game that was called in the fourth quarter due to weather. Wil Knapke ran for 227 yards and three touchdowns. Brenton Lockett added 103 rushing yards and three scores.
In Monroe Garrett leads Adams Central at half 21-0 with the game postponed. Action resumes tomorrow at 3 p.m.
At Bluffton the Tigers led Woodlan at half 14-8 before the game was postponed. Third quarter action will pick up Saturday at 10 a.m.
Leo's game at Muncie Southside had the Lions up 7-6 in the second quarter when the game was called due to weather and a power outage at the stadium. The game is cancelled and will not be made up.
