FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Churubusco improved to 3-0 as the Eagles routed Prairie Heights 42-0.

Busco, ranked no. 4 in 2A, was led by senior running back Jason Nicodemus who carried 12 times for 169 yards and two touchdowns.

At Eastside the Blazers came from behind to beat Angola 14-7. The Hornets got on the board in the first quarter when Bradie Boots hit Austin Bauer for a 40-yard touchdown.

At Garrett it was West Noble falling to Garrett 56-6.

In other action Lakeland beat Central Noble 65-13 while Fairfield topped Fremont 48-30.

In non-NECC local action Huntington North beat Logansport 26-20 in overtime.
