HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WANE) - After a 62-49 win over Anderson on Friday at Kreigbaum Field a couple of Huntington North standouts will find their name listed with some of Indiana's best.

Vikings quarterback Drew Schnitz set a new state record by throwing nine touchdown passes. The preview record was eight by four different players:

8- Martin Chastain (West Washington- 2008)
8- Michael Perkins (River Forest- 2006)
8- Casey Gillin (Indian Creek- 2002)
8- Mike Vlahogeorge (Lafayette Jefferson- 2002)

Additionally, Huntington North's Caleb Richison hauled in six touchdown passes. That ties him with two others:

6- Nathan Parker (River Forest- 2006)
6- Denny Pfledderer (East Central- 1974)

Huntington North is currently 2-3 overall this season and 2-1 in NCC play. They travel to Marion on Friday night.

Trent Fine is in his first year leading the Huntington North program after taking over for Rief Gilg.
