NORTHEAST, Ind. (WANE) - Four local teams were vying for a spot at semi-state and three are moving after regional championships were decided Friday night.

For the third straight year, Carmel and Snider battled for a regional title and for the third straight year the Greyhounds beat the Panthers to move on to semi-state. 

It was a case of deja-vu in class 4A as Bishop Dwenger and Delta met undefeated for the second straight year and the Saints made it two straight over the Eagles winning 49-12.

Bishop Luers and Lewis Cass are no strangers in the postseason and the Knights topped the Kings in Walton for a second straight year, but Friday night was one for the ages as Bishop Luers won 54-53 in double overtime.

And in class 1A, Southern Wells will make a second straight trip to semi-state after routing Knightstown 41-14.
