OSSIAN, Ind. (WANE) - The Norwell Knights finished the regular season 0-9 but have caught fire in the playoffs.
Norwell opened sectional play with a 22-0 win at home against Logansport. They followed it up with a 22-20 victory at 4A no. 13 New Haven in sectional semifinal play.
The Knights will now host Bishop Dwenger for the 4A sectional 12 championship on Friday night.
The win against Logansport was Norwell's first on-field win since week seven of the 2010 season. The Knights earned a forfeit win last season against DeKalb and finished 1-9.
Norwell is coached by Jeff Miller, who is 76-70 in 13 years with the program.
