Highlight Zone Week 12 Players Of The Week

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - For the second year in a row WANE-TV is partnering with NEI GameNight to bring you the Highlight Zone Players of the Week every Wednesday on Newschannel 15 at 6 & 11. You can also see the Highlight Zone Players of the week on the cover of NEI GameNight. GameNight is available Friday night at games in the Allen county area.

This week's Players of the week are:

SAC - Jaylon Smith (Bishop Luers): The Notre Dame-bound senior rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns in a 21-0 win over Churubusco. On defense the linebacker had two tackles for loss.

NHC - Andy Noll (Carroll): Noll returned an interception 27 yards for a touchdown, eight solo tackles, and three pass break-ups in the Chargers' come-from-behind 44-35 victory over South Bend Adams.

ACAC - Ben Gibson (Heritage): The senior receiver caught six balls for 78 yards and three touchdowns in the Patriots' 40-29 win over top-ranked Jimtown.
