FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Carroll is coming off a huge win in the Mike Cheviron Bowl, as the Chargers beat their former coach in a 45-7 victory at Goshen to open the 2012 season.

Carroll is now prepping for a date with always-tough Delta out of Muncie. The Eagles beat Jay County 24-8.

In the Goshen game the Carroll defense stood tall, creating five turnovers and scoring two touchdowns.

Offensively, new starting quarterback Chris Terry threw for 139 yards and rushed for 63 more.

Kick for this Friday's game is set for 7:30 at Dean Gorsuch Field.
