Saint Francis claimed the MCC Tournament championship on Monday night, besting Marian 78-62 at the Hutzell Athletic Center.
With the win the Cougars earn an automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament.
The Cougars were led by Kayla Mullins who netted 29 points, including 14-of-16 from the free throw line. Julie Seiss added 14 points (including 12-14 free throws) and six assists. Bessie Jenkins chipped in 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Megan Egenolf led Marian with 23 points.
The Cougars will learn who they play in the NAIA Tournament at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
