24th-ranked Saint Francis couldn't overcome a cold first half as the Cougars fell to no. 1 Indiana Wesleyan 74-59 Wednesday night in local women's college basketball.
USF was led by Kayla Mullins with 16 while Norwell grad Jenelle Wilson and Harding product Myqueisha Bratton added 12 apiece.
Paige Smith led IWU with 22 points. Rachel Steinbarger chipped in with 16.
USF drops to 17-10 overall and 9-6 in MCC play. IWU improves to 25-2 overall and 14-1 in MCC play.
At the Schaefer Center it was Indiana Tech thumping Lourdes 80-46. Tech was led by Ulyssia Richmond with 21 points. Yasmine Coleman added 18 while Brittnay Jones chipped in 14.
Indiana Tech improves to 13-14 overall.
