Purdue, Ball State Going Bowling

WEST LAFAYETTE, IN. (WANE) - Following a 6-6 season that was widely viewed as a disappointment - Purdue has accepted a bid to play in the Heart of Dallas Bowl on New Year's Day. The Boilermakers will meet Oklahoma State.
Ball State meanwhile will take its 9-3 record to St. Petersburg, Florida to the Beef O'Brady's Bowl on December 21st. The Cardinals will face Central Florida.
