IPFW Preps For Summit League Tournament

FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) - The IPFW men's and women's basketball team will depart for Sioux Falls, South Dakota Friday morning for the 2013 Summit League Tournament. Both enter with vastly different stories.

The men are the hottest team in the conference at the moment, having won five straight games. The five-seed, the Dons will face an Oakland team they've beaten twice in the last two weeks.

The women meanwhile closed the regular season with back-to-back losses, but still held onto the four-seed in their respective bracket. IPFW will face a Western Illinois team that beat them by 19 points last Thursday. The Dons won the first match-up of the regular season at the Gates Sports Center.

The men tip-off Sunday night at 7 p.m. ET, while the women play at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoon.
