FORT WAYNE, IN. - Indiana men's basketball coach Tom Crean was at Autumn Ridge Golf Course on Sunday evening, speaking at the Celebrity Live Auction to benefit the Special Olympics.

Prior to the start of the night, Crean sat down with members of the media to discuss topics ranging from recruiting in the Summit City, to the high expectations surrounding his team entering the 2012-13 season. The Hoosiers are expected by many experts to contend for a national championship with the return of sophomore Cody Zeller and swingman Christian Watford. The Hoosiers also welcome a strong freshman class to Bloomington - one that will need to contribute from day one.

Crean also discussed the fertile basketball recruiting ground that is the greater Fort Wayne area. IU already has a commitment from Bishop Luers star James Blackmon Junior - and while he couldn't go into specifics, Crean says he has great respect for the talent produced in the area, even going back to his days at Marquette.
