DALLAS - Warsaw high school graduate Nic Moore is following his former coach at Illinois State and is transferring to SMU.
Former Illinois State coach Tim Jankovich left ISU and joined SMU's staff two months ago. Not long after Moore announced he would transfer.
A 5-foot-9 guard, Moore averaged 10 points and 3.9 assists per game as a freshman for ISU.
Moore picked the Mustangs over offers from Purdue, Notre Dame, and Illinois.
The Mustangs will begin play in the Big East in 2013-14.
