BLOOMINGTON, IN. (WANE) - Despite fielding a roster ripe with stars, Tom Crean has pushed for balance and teamwork from No. 1 Indiana all season. As of late - the Hoosiers have delivered.
Wednesday night's 76-47 thumping of Nebraska was the fifth time in the last six games at least five Indiana players have scored eight or more points. That stretch has yielded five wins - the lone loss coming on a last second shot at Illinois.
IU will now prepare for a Saturday showdown with in-state rival Purdue. That game is scheduled for a 2 p.m. tip from Assembly Hall.
