FORT WAYNE - Former Warsaw high school basketball standout Nic Moore is interested in transferring to Notre Dame - and the Irish are interested in having him.
According to Irish Illustrated their is mutual interest.
Moore just finished his freshman year at Illinois State. He announced his intention to transfer to a BCS school last week.
Moore started most of the games at point guard for Illinois State last season, putting up 10 points a game and leading the team in assists.
Moore was runner up to Cody Zeller for Indiana Mr. Basketball in 2011 after averaging 27 points a game as a senior.
