FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Norwell high school grad and Coastal Carolina junior Scott Woodard was picked in the 15th round of the MLB draft by the Oakland Athletics on Tuesday.

Woodward is currently second in the NCAA in stolen bases this season with 54. He's hitting .330 with five home runs as 35 RBI.

Coastal Carolina is ranked 4th in the latest national poll. Coastal hosts South Carolina this weekend in an NCAA Super Regional.
