ANGOLA, Ind. - The post-season honors continue to roll in for the Trine University football team as Beyond Sports Network (BSN) have named senior receiver/return specialist JaVontae Hence (Elkhart, Ind./Concord) and junior kicker Tyler Keck (Elkhart, Ind./Elkhart Memorial) Division III All-Americans.

BSN selects an All America Team for the FCS, D2, D3, and NAIA from a pool of All Conference selections and Conference players of the year along with sports information director for nominees. BSN selects the All America team based on player’s stats, how their respective team fared in conference play, overall team stats, and review games their staff saw in person or through another form of media.

Hence was the only player from the MIAA to be named to the second team as he earned honors as an Athlete for his performances as a receiver and a returner. Hence adds to his growing list of accolades that include the MIAA Offensive Player of the Year and two All-MIAA First Team honors.
