FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Bishop Dwenger graduate Scott Kohne scored 17 points - including the 1,000th of his career - but Saint Francis fell at home to rival Marian 68-59 on Tuesday night at the Hutzell Athletic Center.
Kohne becomes the 31st player in USF history to reach 1,000 points and is now at 1,014 for his career.
Josh Hogan led USF with 18 points while Snider grad Brad Sneary chipped in 10 boards to go with four points.
Marian was led by Nick Achille with 17 points while Dwight Cliff and Jason Riley each netted 16.
USF falls to 17-12 overall and 9-8 in Crossroad League play. Marian is now 16-11 overall and 8-9 in the conference.
Meanwhile in other Crossroads League play Huntington University got 35 points from Carroll high school grad Shane Merryman as the Foresters beat Goshen 82-70.
