NEW YORK (WANE) - Notre Dame used a big second half from sophomore Pat Connaughton as the Irish topped Marquette 73-65 in the quarterfinals at the Big East tournament.
The Irish now face Louisville at 9 p.m. tomorrow night in the semifinals.
Connaughton finished Thursday's game with 18 points by going six-of-ten on three pointers. Jerian Grant chipped in 17 points for the Irish while Garrick Sherman added 16.
