HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WANE) - Shane Merryman tallied 22 points while Ryan Boester put up 21 as Huntington University hammered the University of Akron Wayne 90-50 at Platt Arena on Monday night.
Merryman, a Carroll grad, and Boester, a DeKalb product, were just two of four Foresters in double figures. T.J. Short and Tyler Ault each had 10 points apiece.
Huntington led 48-22 at half. The Foresters shot 57-percent for the game.
Huntington improves to 7-5 overall with the win.
