FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Down four at the half the Cougars couldn't rally on their home court as Saint Francis fell to Taylor at the Hutzell Athletic Center on Tuesday night 68-56.
Josh Hogan led USF with 16 points while Scott Kohne (11 points) and Ethan Hussey (10) also ended up in double figures.
Nate Kasper led Taylor with 19 points.
Taylor moves to 18-7 overall and 10-3 in Crossroads League play with the win.
USF drops to 15-10 overall and 7-6 in league play with the loss.
In other local men's college basketball action on Tuesday Indiana Tech won on the road, beating Concordia University 75-56. Antonio Cannon led the way with 28 points for the Warriors.
Meanwhile, Huntington University fell on the road to Indiana Wesleyan 61-58. Carroll high school grad Shane Merryman led the Foresters with 23 points.
