JaJuan Johnson has decided to withdraw his name from the upcoming NBA draft and return to Purdue for his senior season.

The Boilermakers had little trouble in their exhibition opener Tuesday night at Mackey Arena, beating California of Pennsylvania 78-44 as four Purdue players scored in double figures.
Keaton Grant - starting for the suspended Lewis Jackson - netted a team-high 14 points while JaJuan Johnson added 12. Freshman DJ Byrd and E'Twaun Moore chipped in 11 points apiece, while Robbie Hummel added nine. Huntington North graduate Chris Kramer added six points and a team-high five rebounds.
The biggest negative for Purdue came on the boards. The Boilmakers were out-rebounded 43-41.
Purdue plays its final exhibition game Monday night at Mackey Arena when the Boilers host Kentucky Wesleyan.
