Six Hoosiers scored in double figures as Indiana won its exhibition opener over Grace College, 96-73.
Freshman Christian Watford led the way with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Fellow freshman Jordan Hulls netted 14 points, with Tom Pritchard and Jeremiah Rivers each chipping in 12. Verdell Jones and Derek Elston rounded out the double-digit scores with 10 points apiece.
IU led by just six points at half (42-36), but pulled away in the second half to win by 23.
The Hoosiers play their second and final exhibition game Monday against St. Joseph's (Indiana) at Assembly Hall.
