BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana opened the 2012-13 season with an 86-57 win over Indiana Wesleyan in an exhibition game at Assembly Hall.
Indiana used balanced scoring in the victory. Five players scored in double figures led by Maurice Creek with 12 points. Big Ten Preseason Player of the Year Cody Zeller had 11 points going 4-for-4 from the field.
The Hoosiers open regular season play next Friday at home against Bryant.
