FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - IPFW's December 17 game at Notre Dame which was originally scheduled to appear on ESPN's online network, ESPN3, has been switched to national broadcast channel ESPNU, announced by the network on Tuesday morning.
The team of Mike Couzens (play-by-play) and LaPhonso Ellis (analyst) will be bringing the game across television screens across the country.
IPFW, at 5-6 on the year, will travel to Notre Dame, who faces off against Purdue on December 15 before hosting the 'Dons two days later. The Irish have yet to have a true road game (7-0 at home, and 1-1 in neutral game), and won't play their first road game until January 7 at Cincinnati, 15 games into the season.
Notre Dame holds a 3-0 lead in the all-time series, with the Irish fighting off the feisty Mastodon squad 65-63 in 2005 in Fort Wayne.
Tip-off for the game is scheduled for 7 p.m.
