FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - It was championship Saturday at Indiana Tech and the men's soccer team made it 2-for-2 as the Warriors topped Davenport 2-0 to claim the WHAC conference tournament title.  Earlier in the day, the women's volleyball team beat Madonna to claim the WHAC tournament crown.

Scoreless until the 27th minute, Tech's Joel Putek booted in the first goal of the game to give the Warriors a 1-0 advantage.

That score would hold up in the second half until junior Benny Saydee sealed the Warriors win with a goal with under two minutes remaining.

Indiana Tech earns an automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament.  The Warriors will play next Saturday with the opponent and site yet to be determined.
