Norwell grad Chandler Harnish will put on his Northern Illinois football helmet for the final time this Saturday as the quarterback suits up for the West team in this year's Shrine Game.
The annual college senior all-star game will be played Saturday at 4 p.m. in St. Petersburg.
Practice has gone on all week and is open for NFL scouts to evaluate players. Harnish is projected to be a mid-to-late round draft pick in April.
Harnish just wrapped up a stellar career at NIU. He passes for 8,944 yards and 68 touchdowns. The dual threat also ran for 2,994 yards and 24 touchdowns.
Harnish has already earned his bachelor's degree in business administration and is in the process of earning his MBA.
