Eifert Named 2nd Team A.P. All-American

Bishop Dwenger grad and Notre Dame tight end Tyler Eifert added to his already impressive resume on Wednesday as Eifert was named a second team all-American by the Associated Press for the second year in a row.

Three other Notre Dame players were honored: Linebacker Manti Te'o (first team), defensive lineman Stephon Tuitt (second team), and center Braxton Cave (third team).

Purdue defensive lineman Kawann Short was named to the second team.
