Boilermakers Will Be Young In 2012-13

CHICAGO (WANE) - Matt Painter, Terone Johnson, and D.J. Byrd all represented Purdue at the annual Big Ten Media Day in Chicago on Thursday. While they are all familiar names to basketball fans, there will be plenty of new faces on the court for the Boilermakers this season.

Purdue will feature nine freshman or sophomores on the roster, including Fort Wayne native Raphael Davis.

The Boilermakers begin the season Oct. 30 in an exhibition game against Montevallo at 7 p.m. on Keady Court. The regular season opener is a home game against Bucknell on Nov. 9 at 7 p.m.
